Matsumoto Kota
My name is Yurika. Today I want to talk to you ‘all about my boyfriend, or steady, Matsumoto Kota.
The reason why I called Kota “my boyfriend” is not that I became strange, but that Kota said, “All fans of me are my girlfriends.”
Yesterday was our anniversary because November 3rd, 2011 I became Kota-tan. It’s been 4 years since I came to watch him.
Before I introduce you Kota, I’m going to tell you a short story of my being johnny’s fan. Before Arashi debuted, I liked Aiba-chan. Of course I was interested in other johnny’s Jr. and I watched Kinpachi-Sensei. Kame appeared in the show and I liked Kame, too.
But after that, I stopped watching Johnny’s. After a while, in2005, I watched Gokusen2. I came to like Kame again, and I came back to Johnny’s otaku world.
I went to many KAT-TUN’s concert. As is often the case, gradually I came to like the back dancer, who is Kis-My-Ft.2 especially Nika-chan. I went around Japan to see them from2007 to2011.
At the same time, I often go to see Imai Tsubasa’s solo concert just because I love Tsubasa’s stage with great performance. In 2011, I went to see PLAYZONE. I fell in love with Matsumoto Kota at that time. That was the beginning of the history of me and Kota.
Now, Firstly, I will introduce you Matsumoto Kota.
But before that, I will tell you a bit about M.A.D. which is the unit he belongs to.
M.A.D is the abbreviation of Musical Academy Dancing. As their name shows, M.A.D is the unit with members who are very good at dancing. They often performed as Arashi’s, NEWS’s, Tackey and Tsubasa’s or many other groups’ back dancer. But they had few chances to appear in the TV shows or even in Magazines. At the maximum, M.A.D. had 14 members, all of whom had great skills of dancing.
As time goes by, some of them independent as They武道、some of them independent as ふぉ～ゆ～, many of them quit Johnny’s. M.A.D had only two members, Matsumoto Kota and Ikeda Yu.
Then, the other day, Iketan quit Johnny’s and Kota became the only member of M.A.D now.
As for Kota himself, soon after he became johnny’s Jr. in2003, when he was 13 years old, he was relatively often appeared on the show like Ya-ya-yah or Shonen club.
After that, he entered M.A.D.. As a member of M.A.D, he performed on the many stages such as Arashi’s concert, PLAYZONE, Takizawa Kabuki.
Secondly, I will tell you just one of Kota’s charm.
About him, what attracts you the most is his expression on the stage. We can easily tell where Kota is from the very distant seat of Tokyo dome. Why? I don’t know, but he has some appealing point. Wherever on the stage he is, he behaves as if he were a main. He appeals to audience in every possible way. He winks, he gives peace signs, he does Usa-mimi pose all the time.
Of course, his dance is great. It is powerful and expressive. As you know from the picture, he has good-looking, but please don’t forget, he comes out badly in pictures, which means that real, live Kota is much more attractive.
