PLAYZONE

What does summer remind you of?
Sea? Fireworks?...No! It’s PLAYZONE.

PLAYZONE had been shown since 1986 by Shonentai, and in 2009, it was shown by Kis-My-Ft.2. It was also a memorable show for me, but it’s another story. When I say PLAYZONE, I mean PALYZONE SONG&DANC’N performed by Tsubasa. The concept of this stage is to sing and dance many traditional and famous Johnny’s songs. The most characteristic thing is that they dance powerfully all songs. Moreover, all songs are choreographed by Travis Payne, who is the choreographer of “THIS IS IT”. Very Very unfortunately, PLAYZONE will not be shown this summer, but today, I will tell you three very attractive points of PLAYZONE and recommend two DVDs.

The first attractive point is very powerful group dancing. The formations arranged by Travis Payne are very beautiful. And the moment each member’s motion gets one, you will see the most beautiful stage in the world!! I want you to recommend these songs, “光”,”マーチ！””ギンギラギンにさりげなく” and ”Guys PLAYZONE”.

The second attractive point is the growth of Travis Japan. Four members in Travis Japan, Myuto, Noel, Shime and Hiroki had been performed in PLAYZONE since the very first year of Tsubasa’s PLAYZONE as JR.A. Other five members, Aran, Miyachika, Uminchu, Kaji, Shizuya joined in 2012, and Travis Japan was made. They were so young and their bodies, performances and their minds were still immature. But finally, in PLAYZONE2015, they performed their solo stage. They stood in the center of the Aoyama theater alternately. Each member performed with full of confidence. Their growth and performance was like a miracle.

The third attractive point is the love toward PLAYZONE. PLAYZONE is loved by all fans, all members and Travis. That’s why PLAYZONE is attractive. Many fans love PLAYZONE so enthusiastically that they not only love PLAYZONE, but also love Aoyama Theater itself, or summer itself!

Then, I recommend you two DVDs.
The first one is PLAYZONE the final. Many songs with group dancing such as 光, マーチ!... is performed in PLAYZONE2015. And as I said, you can see very beautiful solo stage of Travis Japan, which is “どうなってもいい～It’s BAD.”

The other one is PLAYZONE2011. ABC-Z joined at that year. All the performance was nearly perfect. Actually I love this year’s performance the best. And this DVD was recorded in July 24th, which was just after Fumito got injured. It’s so sad that we can’t see Fumito, but I want you to watch “カンペキ” and ”ABC-Z”. カンペキwas mainly danced by Goseki san and Fumito first, but at that day, instead of Fumito, Yara-san danced perfectly even though they had only a half day for rehearsal. ABC-Z was performed by only four members of ABC-Z. But they were very powerful. I happened to go to see this day, and I was impressed with big cheer voice to say “ABC-Z” from audience.
